Testimonials

Tina always get back to my messages within 24 hours and is always accommodating!
— Hannah 2020
Tina started teaching me piano from scratch two years ago. She is very gentle and accommodating with adult beginners. I look forward to my weekly lesson because I always learn something new and have fun doing it. Being a beginner, I have often found myself stuck on a piece of music, and Tina thinks up creative ways to that help me get past that block. With Tina’s guidance I have become passionate about piano practice and I’m even confident enough now to participate in the Christmas recital she holds for her students. Playing in front of others was not something I ever thought I could do, but I’ve grown musically through my weekly lessons, and I’m ready to take the skills I’ve learned and put them on display.

Tina is a remarkable teacher. My son was always excited to go to her classes and learn about music and Mandarin. The history of composers, playing a song on the piano, as well as some of the Mandarin (numbers, expressions, foods...) he was able to learn in a short period of time was very impressive, especially for a 3 yr old. He made so much progress in her classes and we are very thankful we had someone like Ms. Tina contribute to our son’s development.

My daughter had the opportunity to meet quite a few excellent teachers over two years at a couple of different schools, but Ms Tina stands out among them and remains her absolute favourite so far. Ms Tina taught Mandarin and Music, and the results were impressive. Through song, rhyme and play, my daughter’s Mandarin vocabulary started evolving, and she developed a real interest in classical music. On top of all that, Ms Tina also teaches kindness by example. Her positivity is contagious and you can see children lighing up after spending some time in her class.
